New in Your Account: Ontraport Labs
With Ontraport Labs, you now have the ability to test our experimental and beta features before they’re released. To switch on not-yet-released features in your own account, go to Admin > Ontraport Labs > Click “on.”
Feature Releases
PROJECTION MODE FOR CAMPAIGN BUILDER
This experimental feature allows you to run ‘what if’ analyses on your campaigns. You can edit your stats in one place, and we do the calculations to show you the likely impact of that change across the map, allowing you to see the potential impact of various changes in advance.
To turn it on, go to Administration > Ontraport Labs Tab > Projection Mode
OPEN COLLECTION COLUMNS CONTAINING A URL IN A NEW TAB
Any collection column that contains a hyperlink will now open the link in a new tab rather than taking you to the item in the app’s editor. This allows Ontraport users to visit the destination URL without needing to copy/paste or go into the editor to grab it.
Here’s where you’ll notice the change in the app:
- Contact list collection for fields with a URL (e.g. website)
- Landing pages collection (domain)
- Forms collection (thank you page)
- Tracking > All UTMs, URL history, tracked links
- Partners > Promo Tools
NOTES FOR CAMPAIGN BUILDER
This feature allows you to create notes anywhere on campaign maps.
Here’s how to use it:
- To create a new note, click the “note” icon located between the checklist and revision history icons.
- Move a note: Hover over the note, click the crosshairs icon in the upper left corner of the note, then drag and drop.
- Delete a note: Click the trashcan icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Adjust font size: Click the +/- icons in the bottom left.
- Adjust note size: Drag the diagonal arrows in the bottom right.
SEND INVOICE ON SUBSEQUENT PAYMENTS
We added a checkbox below the invoice section on order forms to enable Ontraport users to send an invoice each time a subsequent payment is charged successfully. This will only work for new orders that come through the order form. Also included is a checkbox to send invoices for all recurring payments when logging manual transactions or editing an open order.
$0 COUPON VALIDATION
Previously, if a coupon was created for $0, it wouldn’t validate. We’ve now fixed it so that you can create and use a $0 coupon.
15 AND 45 MINUTE WAITS IN CAMPAIGNS
Wait actions now include 15 min and 45 min options. Additionally, when selecting some time passes, the default is set to 0 instead of 30 minutes.
MOBILE RESPONSIVE ORDER FORMS
Say goodbye to order forms that aren’t fully mobile responsive. This new feature makes product grids from Ontraport Pages and Ontraport Forms viewable on mobile devices by changing the order form block any time it’s viewed on a device less than 768px.
Additional Code Release v5.0.118 Updates
- Removed button element hover color settings from Ontraport Email.
- Removed the ability to delete active WordPress site API keys from the API collection.
