Hi. I'm Kristen. And today, we're going to take a look at an automation that sends text messages to remind your clients to book their next service.

This automation helps you retain and reengage clients, even if they've forgotten, wandered off or gotten distracted.

You can also avoid chasing down clients when it's time for their next appointment. This automation uses SMS messages instead of email, which gives you better open and response rates. Plus, it creates a personal experience showing your clients you care about their progress. Let's check it out.

Now that we're looking at the actual map, we can see how this works. If you've never seen an ontraport automation map for. Don't worry. I'm gonna walk you through all the elements.

At its most basic, your contacts enter the map through the start, and then they move their way to the bottom of the map. Through all of your automation elements. So the very first element on this map is the submits form trigger A trigger will add contacts to an automation map when they perform a specific action or they fit a specific criteria.

In this case, we are looking for the contact to submit a form. It's this, get in touch form right here.

So as soon as someone actually submits that form and books an appointment with you, then they'll be sent in this email that confirms that they've scheduled an appointment.

Now the rest of the automation is reminding your customers to go ahead and book their next appointment later on. So directly underneath the confirmation of a scheduled appointment, we have a wait for sixty days. And then we have a reminder SMS. So this is a message that goes out, sixty days after your contact has booked their first appointment with you.

Then there's a wait for two days and then reminder email. A wait for three days and a reminder SMS. Then await for two days and another reminder email.

And the magic of this automation is this goal right here. If a contact at any point goes ahead and books an appointment with you, they'll be moved off of those reminders and moved to this goal right here. And once they book their appointment, they're going to go all the way back up to the top of the map and start this process over so that you always have this system of reminding your clients to book their next appointment and stopping those reminders when your client has actually booked their appointment.
