Each month, our talented design team makes amazing posters that inspire fun and creativity around the ONTRAPORT office. So to wave goodbye to this magical season, they made posters that commemorated the end of summer 2015.
So queue this iconic tune and check out these awesome Endless Summer inspired posters from around the ONTRAPORT offices.
Fiesta
The Santa Barbara community has long been proud of our city’s heritage — from Spanish founders to the Mexican and North American pioneers who first settled here and built the city. Every August, the entire city partakes in Fiesta, a week-long party (think Mardi Gras) that celebrates Santa Barbara’s rich cultural tradition.
Hiking at Inspiration Point
Situated just north of Santa Barbara, the rock formations of the Santa Ynez Mountains are a playground for residents. The breathtaking, panoramic views of the Santa Barbara coast from the top of Inspiration Point are the main draw. A hike that features bright vegetation, colorful wildflowers, and (occasionally) lively streams, the quick, yet challenging, trek to the top of Inspiration Point is a local favorite.
Surfing at Campus Point
Home to awesome surf spots, professional surfers, board shapers, and surfing legends, Santa Barbara has cemented its place in surf culture. And with world-class surf spots such as Rincon and El Capitan within driving distance, you can guess our favorite summertime activity.
Summer Solstice
Originally a birthday celebration for local artist Michael Gonzales in 1974, the Summer Solstice Celebration quickly evolved into the over-the-top event it is today. With an enormous parade and festival in Alameda Park, Summer Solstice is a unique part of Santa Barbara culture. Much like Fiesta, the entire town rallies for this event.
Paragliding at Elings Park
The gentle winds from the Pacific make Elings Park a favorite for those who like to spend summer days paragliding. Taking off one of the best hills in Santa Barbara County, paragliders soar high over the city and ocean.
