When it’s time to revise, you can just focus on your design instead of locating and editing every single page. This is especially useful for headers, navigation bars and footers that give your pages a unified, website-like experience.
Any block that is used in multiple locations can be set to be global. For example, if you post event information, you can update every instance at once to skip the worry that anyone can see outdated information.
If you want to verify that you’ve added navigation and footers everywhere you need them, you can just click into the global block settings and see every page with your block.
You also have choices for your block’s styling that makes it easy to create a consistent look and feel across your whole site with minimal effort. When you edit your global blocks you can choose to keep your brand identity for all pages by using overrides for your fonts, styles and colors so they are unaffected by your page’s style. You can also choose to make your block match the style of the page it is placed on — they will keep the same content and only the styling will be changed.
