PilotPress 2.0 Released

We’ve released a new version of PilotPress that will make it easier for Ontraport users to migrate from another membership platform. It will also decrease membership site login issues for users’ customers.

Here are additional highlights of this significant upgrade:

CODE UPDATES

  • We switched to using the default WordPress method to track login status which will reduce login problems and keep users synchronized.
  • We added “Hooks” for third-party plugin developers to activate or modify PilotPress functions without editing PilotPress.php core.
  • PilotPress now automatically removes spaces and tabs in APP ID and API key entry to decrease user entry errors.
  • Linking to protected content will now redirect to the login page, if the user is not logged in, then continue to the protected content after login.

WORDPRESS EDITOR UPDATES

  • We added the ability to preview posts and pages as a member so there is no more hassle for the WordPress administrator.
  • We updated the video player to use HTML 5 instead of flowplayer.
  • We added a shortcodes dropdown menu to the WordPress editor to eliminate manual typing and related user error.
  • We updated the Media button to include Ontraport Forms.
  • The default login form now includes lost password prompt.

PILOTPRESS SETTINGS UPDATES

  • We added functionality to sync contacts for existing WordPress subscribers, making migrations from other membership plugins significantly easier.
  • We added Campaigns to the “sync contacts” section.
  • We added a priority dropdown menu for customers or partners so that if a member is both a customer and a partner, the admin can choose which takes priority on the login redirect.
  • We removed the “Disable API Caching” checkbox and added “Flush API Cache” button.

SHORTCODE UPDATES

  • We added a shortcode for “If client does NOT have Tag.”

Tracked Links Directly on Ontraport Pages, Forms and Mail

We’ve added a new option to “ Add a Tracked Link” when adding hyperlinks to Ontraport Pages, forms and mail. Select an existing tracked link or create a new one by selecting the “Tracked Link” option from the “Create a Link” dialogue box.
