 Pro tips
Tip #1: When creating your keys, do not check any of the boxes under “Select the options for your key.” These options only apply to our old, deprecated API.
Tip #2: Create and name a separate set of keys for each integration. For example, if you have integrations with Zapier and 1ShoppingCart, you would have “Zapier Keys” and “1ShoppingCart Keys” saved in your Key Manager. This simplifies the troubleshooting process in the event that there are issues with an integration.
Tip #3: Because your API key performs requests using real data in your Ontraport account, you should not share it with anyone.
