Your phone goes everywhere with you, and so does your business data once you install the Ontraport app. The good news is that the app uses your Ontraport login, so the security you set up on desktop protects it, too. Here's what's protecting you, and what you can control. Start with the basics. Everyone on your team should have their own login, never a shared one, and their role controls what they can access. Keep your Login Details up to date in your Personal Profile, because that's where your security codes are sent. And note that Ontraport blocks logins over a VPN, so turn off any VPN on your phone before you sign in. Multi-factor authentication asks for a unique code on top of your password, so a stolen password isn't enough to get into your account. It's always on in Ontraport. The code goes to your login email, or by text to the cell phone number in your Login Details. You can choose how often you and your users are asked to confirm who you are. Click your profile icon, then Administration, then the Security tab. Choose a level under Multi-factor Authentication, and click Save. If you'd rather sign in with Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Apple, turn on Social Login on the same Security tab. Do this on your desktop account first, before you try it in the app. Sign in with Apple only works in the iPhone app. Then each person connects their own account. In Personal Profile, scroll to Social Logins, click Connect next to a provider, and sign in. If someone leaves your team, or a phone goes missing, act on their login from your desktop account. As the account owner, go to Manage users, select the user, and choose Log out, or Lock out. A locked-out user can't log in again until you set them back to Active. If they're gone for good, you can delete the user. On your own phone, you can sign out any time. Tap the menu icon, then Log out. So: give everyone their own login, let multi-factor authentication do its job, and lock out anyone who shouldn't have access anymore.
