Once your Ontraport Partner Program is up and running, you’ll want to create a Partner Center.

Your Partner Center will be built into your WordPress-based membership site. It gives your partners access to any promo tools you’ve created for them and stats about their commissions and payments.

To create a Partner Center, you need to have a WordPress site with PilotPress installed and activated. If you don’t yet have that set up yet, be sure to check out our “How to integrate PilotPress with your site” video.

Once that’s ready to go, the rest is pretty easy.

I’ll show you the four steps to creating your partner center:
  1. Turning on the Partner Center feature in PilotPress
  2. Setting your login redirect
  3. Adding a partner membership level, and
  4. Giving partners access to your site

Let’s get going.

To Turn on the Partner Center in PilotPress, log in to your WordPress site.

Go to “Settings” and “PilotPress,” then scroll down to “Ontraport Integration Settings.”

Check the box for “Enable Partner Center.”

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes.”

Now, Set your login redirect.

Go to “Post Login Redirect Settings.”

Where it says “Partners Redirect to,” click “Partner Center.”

Once more, scroll to the bottom of your PilotPress settings and click “Save Changes.”

Next, Add a partner membership level.

You’ll go to your Ontraport account and open your WordPress website collection.

Select your WordPress-integrated website. Add a partner membership level to your WordPress site and name it something like “Partner.”

You’ll need this so you can send your partners their usernames and passwords to log in to their partner center.

Click “Save” when you’re done.

And last, Give partners access to your site.

Open up your partner signup automation that you created in the “Sign up partners” video.

You’ll need to add the element “Give WP Membership Access” to give your new partner access to your WordPress site.

Make sure this element shows up before your partner welcome email. This is where their username and password get created. In the next step, Ontraport will email that info to them.

Select your membership site from the dropdown and then pick the membership level for your Partner Program.

Next, open your partner welcome email, and write something like: “Log in to your partner center at www.myontraportpartners.com. Use these credentials to log in.”

The email must include merge fields to your membership site so people know their username and password.

Click the merge field dropdown and click “User Name.”

You’ll repeat this same process for the password. Just click the merge field dropdown again and type in “Password” and click the password merge field.

Congratulations, you’ve just created a Partner Center!
